Joint WiM/RISE 2021 Event

Women in MICCAI (WiM) and the RISE invite you to our virtual event held in conjunction with MICCAI 2021 on September 29, 12:30 - 13:30 UTC.

Female scientists and the pandemic: Surviving or Thriving?

Female scientists' research productivity dropped off at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been attributed to women's disproportionate caregiving responsibilities, service roles and emotional labor. In this session, you will learn common barriers which constrain women in the workplace, along with strategies to support women's success and tips to personally navigate adversity, barriers, and obstacles.
